Accountants raise concerns about pension overpayments

The Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA) has raised concerns about the way in which pension contributions will be calculated in the first year of the newly updated NHS Pension Scheme. AISMA fears that some GPs will lose out because they will pay higher contributions than they should and will have no opportunity to reclaim overpayments.
